The Master Grande Tradition Calibre 985 Pink Gold represents the pinnacle of Jaeger-LeCoultre’s heritage in high complications. Often referred to as “the watchmaker’s watchmaker,” Jaeger-LeCoultre has long been renowned for supplying prestigious movements and components to many of the world’s leading watch brands.

Part of the exclusive Master Grande Tradition collection, this timepiece combines two exceptionally sophisticated complications: a Perpetual Calendar with Moon Phase display and a Flying Tourbillon. The perpetual calendar automatically accounts for varying month lengths and leap years, requiring adjustment only once every 122 years to maintain the accuracy of its moon-phase indication. Its functions are displayed on three subdials featuring contrasting textures, enhanced by three-dimensional pink-gold markers and laser engraving.

The 42 mm case, crafted from pink gold, has been redesigned with a combination of polished, brushed, and microblasted finishes. The striking dial features a rich chestnut-brown sunburst finish and is constructed on two levels separated by a pink-gold bridge. Powering the watch is an in-house automatic movement composed of 431 components, offering a 45-hour power reserve.

Turning the watch over reveals the movement, decorated with traditional Haute Horlogerie finishing techniques. The caseback also showcases a 22-karat gold rotor featuring a reproduction of the gold medal awarded to Antoine LeCoultre, the company’s founder, at the Great Exhibition of 1851.
