IWC Aquatimer Perpetual Calendar Digital Date-Month brings Hollywood into the world of haute horlogerie. The Aquatimer line reflects a collaboration between IWC Schaffhausen and Warner Bros., the studio behind Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Aquaman 2), the sequel to DC’s blockbuster superhero film.
That connection resulted in two bold, deep-sea-ready dive watches inspired by accessories worn by two characters in the movie. And bold is the right word: the timepiece is impressively sized, with a 49 mm case built for maximum wrist presence.
The case is crafted from Ceratanium, IWC’s proprietary material that combines the lightness and toughness of titanium with a ceramic-like surface hardness and scratch resistance. The watch also packs serious mechanical firepower, featuring a perpetual calendar with a digital date and month display, a chronograph function, and an in-house IWC caliber.
Two versions are available:
-
Glowing red and black
-
Blue and black
Each edition is limited to just 25 pieces, making this one of the most exclusive Aquatimers in recent memory.
Price: approximately €53,700.
