Cartier Tank Américaine Watch – Large Model
This “Tank Américaine” by Cartier is a luxurious women’s timepiece and a modern reinterpretation of the brand’s original Tank watch, created in 1917 as a tribute to the Allied armored forces in Europe. Like the classic model, it features rounded corners and vertical brancards, but with larger dimensions and a slightly more daring geometric profile.
The watch case is crafted from 18-karat gold, while the satin-finished dial is complemented by blued-steel sword-shaped hands and a crown set with a sapphire cabochon. It is worn on an interchangeable blue alligator leather strap secured by an 18-karat gold folding clasp.
