An exclusive model from Montblanc. The “trick” of this watch is its tourbillon, which is suspended from a single arm, a feature that took three years of development and a patented design. Additionally, the ratchet wheel appears to be suspended outside the rotating cage of the tourbillon, which is reflected in the “Exo” (external) in the model’s name. The developers aimed to create a tourbillon that would be easy to view, finding a new way to showcase the inner beauty of the caliber. The asymmetry of the single arm holding the tourbillon requires precise manufacturing of all components and a complicated assembly process. The watch features a 44.8mm white gold case, with transparent front and back, a blue dial, and a matching alligator leather strap. It is a limited edition of 18 pieces. Price: $110,000.
