This watch – a limited edition of 1,000 pieces – commemorates the completion of a new building at Patek Philippe’s manufacturing campus in Plan-les-Ouates. The ten-story building houses the latest equipment and consolidates many workshops and offices that were previously scattered across the Canton of Geneva.
The watch itself belongs to the extensive Calatrava collection. Its 40mm steel case is polished with a non-rotating, rounded bezel. The blue-gray dial features applied numerals with a luminescent material. The internal hour indicator ring adopts Patek Philippe’s recognizable “railway track” design, and the hands have a distinctive truncated, square tip. The dial’s center is textured to resemble carbon fibers. A transparent case back reveals a stunningly beautiful caliber.
Price: $29,000.
