Ralph Lauren Automotive Tourbillon
This watch expresses Ralph Lauren’s love for the Bugatti cars of the 1930s in its design. The bezel of the watch is made from the same type of exotic and rare wood used to create the Bugatti’s steering wheel, and it is processed in a way that exposes and emphasizes the natural lines of the wood. The bezel is screwed onto a case made of hardened steel, with a rather substantial diameter of 44.8 mm, and the screw shape matches that of the steering wheel. The Ralph Lauren logo is also designed in a font of overlapping letters, in the same style as the emblems of classic Bugatti cars’ typologies. The watch features a mechanical movement with automatic winding and a tourbillon, accompanied by a black alligator leather strap, creating a unique and masculine motor-inspired look. Price: $62,500.
