Roger Dubuis, the pioneering Swiss watchmaker, has specialized in bold and unconventional timepieces since 1995. The brand’s watches bear the prestigious Poinçon de Genève (Geneva Seal), while its design philosophy embraces what it calls “Hyper Horology” – an expressive approach characterized by openworked architecture and highly visible mechanics.
The Excalibur Spider Pirelli is the product of Roger Dubuis’ longstanding collaboration with Pirelli, the legendary Italian tire manufacturer.
The Mexico Edition pictured here measures an imposing 45 mm in diameter and is crafted from lightweight C-SMC carbon, complemented by a black ceramic bezel. Its vivid accents draw inspiration from the colors associated with Mexico.
Two additional special editions are dedicated to Italy and Geneva, with each version produced in a highly exclusive run of just 28 pieces.
At its heart is an advanced flyback chronograph movement incorporating two patented innovations, along with a distinctive rotating minute counter and oversized red numerals that reinforce the watch’s motorsport-inspired character.
Completing the connection to the racetrack, the strap incorporates recycled material from Pirelli tires used in international motorsport competitions, giving the timepiece a tangible link to the world of high-performance racing.
Price: approximately €85,400.
