Accutron Spaceview 314
In 1960, when the American watch company Bulova introduced the original Accutron Spaceview, it was regarded as the world’s first fully electronic watch, paving the way for the highly accurate timepieces we know today. Now, several years after its relaunch as an independent brand, Accutron unveils the new Spaceview 314.
The watch revives the legendary tuning fork movement—a tiny U-shaped metal component that replaces the traditional balance wheel. Each movement is meticulously crafted and assembled by hand, reflecting the brand’s commitment to traditional watchmaking excellence.
Measuring 39 mm in diameter, the Spaceview 314 is available in several versions: stainless steel, Grade 5 titanium, and 18-karat yellow gold, each paired with a matching dial design.
Prices:
- Stainless Steel: approximately $5,990
- Grade 5 Titanium: approximately $6,200
- 18K Yellow Gold: approximately $31,500
