Ressence Type 8 DE1
The independent Belgian watchmaker Ressence continues its tradition of creating timepieces that blur the line between horology and wearable art. As part of its ongoing collaborations with prominent artists, the brand has partnered with German artist Daniel Engelberg, a painter known for his sculptural approach and distinctive hand-crafted works featuring layered circular compositions.
The result is two limited-edition models, each produced in just 40 pieces. The model shown here, the Type 8 DE1, combines Ressence’s minimalist design language with Engelberg’s Inside Out series, characterized by bold geometric forms.
Dominated by a vibrant pink color palette, the watch features Ressence’s signature orbital convex display system, creating the illusion of a “living canvas of color, motion, and depth.”
